The Stock-In-Trade Blazer Shirt
Details
There’s always a use for a great “dress” shirt, but our latest rendition is nothing like the typical broadcloth one might wear. This shirt balances out upscale panache the way a reliable co-star grounds a famous leading man—and can anchor an understated look just as well. A mid-20th century classic, this collar was popularized in the '50s by Gary Cooper. The collar itself is a single piece that extends through the front torso and doubles as a placket. This reinforcing effect is that the collar stands on its own, without collapsing under its own weight—as is common when wearing a blazer sans tie. Hidden buttons are placed behind the collar points to help give the collar its distinctive “roll.” No top button and a curved top placket give it a uniquely casual look. Elegant faux-shell buttons. Classic fit. 100% cotton poplin. Machine wash. Imported.

I still have not received it
I don't have it. It is taking way too long to get.
Retro Look of Future Fashion
The Hollywood style is impressive. Can be worn with or without collar buttons fastened. However, the stitching to the shoulder front and back left wrinkles. Looks like I received an imperfect sample. This shirt would look better with placard front, hiding the button. Otherwise, I will repurchase in Plum color.

Duplicitous Territory Ahead
A bad experience for the last time I will be a customer of The Territory Ahead. My order was automatically generated (in the wrong size) without my confirmation. Within 1 minute of the order being generated by your website's error, I was unable to stop it from being processed. Customer service misled me to infer that I could return the unintended order without charge. I did return that unintended purchase without opening the package. Hidden fees attached to the returned shirt amounted to 30% of the cost of the shirt, which I never purchased. My many previous purchases have been somewhat complicated from time to time by your unnecessarily complicated policies and exchange procedures, but this is the first time I have encountered hidden fees and penalties for a situation that was created by The Territory Ahead. Please remove my name from your's and J. Peterman's mailing lists and that of, heretofore, loyal customers.
Soft fabric
I bought this shirt for my husband for Father’s Day and he loves it. He’s often between a large and medium but the medium fits perfectly. The fabric is soft and thick enough that it can be worn without a tee-shirt underneath, although my husband prefers it with. He laundered it on delicate and dried it on low as directed and it came out nicely but had to be ironed..
