How to get a really good fit:
First and foremost, if you have any questions about size, call customer service at 888-436-1031. We have actual garment measurements for every item and we’ll be happy to help you find the perfect size.

Measure yourself with a tape measure using the instructions below. (Or have a friend do it. Serve sangria, as a bribe.) Jot down your measurements and compare them with the body measurement sizing charts found below
and on each product page.

HAT: Measure circumference of your head where a hat would naturally rest (normally above the brow).
WAIST: Measure around your natural waist or, if you prefer, a little lower, where you may actually wear your pants.
NECK: Measure the circumference of your neck. (Add a little for your Adam's apple.)
SEAT/HIP: Standing, with feet together, measure around the fullest part of the hips. Don't cheat.
CHEST/BUST: Measure around fullest part, but with tape under your arms.
You'll need a friend to do this for you. (More sangria.)
INSEAM: Use a well-fitting similarly styled pair of pants. Lay them flat, with seam on seam.
Measure from crotch to bottom of hem.
ARM/SLEEVE LENGTH: Your arm must be slightly bent to do this correctly. Then, measure from center back of your neck, over the shoulder, down the arm, past the elbow (slightly bent) all the way to wrist. (Your friend may be needed for this too.)
"FOR MEN AND WOMEN": What does that mean? They're men's sizes, in fact.
On women, these items will be attractively oversized; sleeve length will be long.
TALL: All of the measurements are the same as the Regular Size, but we’ve added 1” to the sleeve length and 2” to the body length.

We’ve been making these trusted stalwarts for over twenty years. Hard wearing cotton Bedford cord fabric, constructed to withstand years of wear and tear. The elasticized waist with drawstring allows for a fit as easy and undemanding as a pair of PJ bottoms. Quarter front pockets, with interior pockets made with indigo cotton chambray, zip-fly, and button-through back pockets. 100% Cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Still Great Pants

It is the quality of the Bradford cloth, the basis of the Taboose pant that wears better than denim and looks as refined as corduroy that attracted me more than 15 years ago...they are equally well made today and the two pair I recently purchased are are a nice addition to the others in my closet.

A Favorite Garment

I have 3 pairs of the Taboose Pant and I cannot wear them out after many long years of tough outings. I call them my grab and go pants. They wash and wear beautifully. The style changes made in 2023 did not hurt the comfort or durability of the pant, but be careful with the sizing in new orders.

Great deal

The pants are a heavier material than I expected (very stiff), but fit great and a good addition to a winter wardrobe. Great deal as I got them on a super sale.
