Back in the late 19th century, Old Steamboat earned his reputation as “The Horse That Couldn’t Be Ridden.” While license plates commemorate him today, his defiant spirit influenced us to name our long-standing corduroy after him. Bucking all conceived notions, fine, 16-wale cotton has been yarn-dyed and garment-washed for a softer feel. Button-down collar, shirttail hem. Machine wash. Imported.

Extremely slow delivery and poor communication
It was probably about 3 weeks after placing my order that I realized my shirt hadn’t been delivered. I checked the status on-line and it said delivered, but it wasn’t. I sent a message to TA, hearing back that the order was delayed. Ok, but shouldn’t someone notified me about this in advance? Even then, it took a few more weeks to get the shirt. I’m sure the shirt is fine, but I’m inclined to shop from other venues, as this experience reflects sloppy management of what was once a great company.
